One of the night’s main draws was CLT NYE at Truist Field, an event that began in the evening and ran alongside the ballpark’s “Light the Knights” holiday attractions, including illuminated displays and vendor areas, with add-on options such as ice skating and snow tubing.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said it deployed a strategic operations plan for the Uptown celebration footprint — including Truist Field and nearby Romare Bearden Park — and reported no major incidents. Authorities said revelers were screened for prohibited items as they entered, and officers made two arrests and seized two firearms during enforcement actions.
