In a report published in The New York Times on Thursday, Trump revealed that the disgraced music mogul "asked me for a pardon" at an undisclosed date "through a letter". Pressed for further details, the American leader commented, "Oh, would you like to see that letter?". However, Trump did not end up producing the note for reporters to see and indicated that he wouldn't be granting the request. A spokesperson for the 79-year-old later confirmed Combs had asked him for a pardon but declined to add any further comment.
