This traveller, @hungry_potatoo, stayed in a Terracotta Army themed hotel in China's Xi'an where rooms are littered with life-size clay soldiers.

Footage shows the Instagrammer touring the accommodation where sculptures are staring down at guests from the ceiling and even in the toillet.

The filmer told Newsflare: "It's a Terracotta Army themed accommodation in Xi'an China with two rooms. It's hidden in an apartment in the neighbourhood area in Xi'an so you wouldn't expect there's a place like that.

"The moment you stepped into the apartment it's giving eerie creepy, with multiple terracotta warriors welcoming you at the door. The room was very dim, with so many terracotta statues in the living room, it was actually freaky.

"Furnitures were old with weapons around. In the rooms, there were mini terracotta statue hidden under the bed, and even on the ceiling staring right at you when you sleep. There was also a beheaded statue next to the bed. I was alone but it definitely did not feel alone. It was impossible to sleep in there."
