Spain: Emergency Services Rush To Gelida Train Crash
Gelida, Spain - January 20, 2026 Shortly after 9 p.m., a train on the R4 Rodalies line derailed while travelling towards Manresa. The accident occurred between Gelida and Martorell. According to Adif, traffic between Sant Sadurnì d&'Anoia and Martorell Central, part of the Rodalíes de Catalunya network, has been interrupted due to a wall near the infrastructure being knocked down by the storm.
