A family holiday in Itapema turned into an unexpected viral moment after a toddler fell asleep to the sound of a hairdryer — proving that white noise comes in many forms. The video, posted on Instagram by paulataffarel, has now surpassed five million views.

Baby Bia Taffarel Zanette, aged one year and seven months, is used to drifting off to sleep with white noise from the family’s Alexa device at home in Ibiporã, Paraná. But while staying at the sister‑in‑law’s beach house, there was no Alexa in the room. Instead, her father, Maurício Zanette, was drying his hair when Bia suddenly nodded off to the hum of the hairdryer.

The moment became even funnier when Maurício switched the dryer off, and Bia immediately woke up — prompting her mother, Paula Castro Taffarel Zanette, to start filming. Paula joked that Bia “always provides entertainment, even when she’s sleeping,” and viewers seem to agree.
