Mouse discovered nesting inside car hood in Iași, Romania
On October 18, 2025, in Iași, Romania, @robertaioanei shared a video showing a small animal living inside a car hood. In the video, a close-up reveals heavily torn hood insulation as a mouse or rat moves through the lining, dropping bits of nesting material onto the Ford Turbo Intercooled engine below. Debris such as dried leaves, paper, and plastic strips is scattered across the engine, indicating ongoing nesting activity. The animal repeatedly pops in and out of holes it chewed in the liner, while the people filming react in Romanian, expressing surprise at the unexpected situation.
