Dramatic footage has emerged of a large iceberg collapsing into the sea.

The video, filmed in the Denmark Strait off Greenland earlier this year, shows the the iceberg gradually crumbling into the ocean.

Icebergs floating out at sea during the Arctic summer often collapse, as they are subject to waves, powerful winds and rising temperatures.

The video was captured by photographer Lauren Farmer on board the MV Sea Spirit, an expedition vessel chartered by Poseidon Expeditions (a polar cruise operator) in the Denmark Strait between Iceland and Greenland.
