Heartwarming footage of a woman being surprised with a border collie puppy by her family for her birthday.

The video, filmed near Liverpool, UK this week, shows Shannon's boyfriend Adam giving her the dog, which was also from her parents.

They threw off the scent by giving her fake presents in the morning, including fake holiday tickets that she put on Instagram.

Her reaction to the surprise gift, which she had to wait until 4pm for, was amazing.

According to her mother, "she is a massive dog lover and this gift took her breath away."

My daughter Shannon was desperate for a Collie Puppy for her birthday. Her partner Adam said adamantly no as they already have one collie. Little did she know! We all put her off the "scent" since the puppies birth. Her partner Adam gave her fake holiday gifts on the morning of her birthday while her Dad and I collected the puppy from the breeders.
