The UK is set to have a heatwave in August, with temperatures soaring to over 30 degrees Celsius! The start of the heatwave was dubbed Furnace Friday, with the high temperatures lasting for several days - interspersed with some thunderstorms and heavy rain.

It is the British summer, after all.

When the sun does come out, and with social distancing restrictions still in place due to the coronavirus pandemic and fears of a second wave, many will be concerned by seeing large numbers on the beaches.
