The UK is set to reach potentially record-breaking temperatures of up to 29 degrees Celsius this week as an Indian summer heatwave is on its way to make parts of the UK hotter than the Bahamas.

Southern England will get the brunt of the heatwave as the high pressure from Spain and Portugal will blow the warm air over.

Along with the heatwave, the government's new "Rule of Six" comes into effect this week, so all eyes will be on the sunseekers.
