Kitesurfer loses control after giant leap
An incredible video from the Newsflare archive of a kite-boarder leaping at least 25 metres in the air before coming crashing down into the sea.
Professional kite-boarder Tom Hebert was competing in the Red Bull 'King of the Air' contest in Cape Town in February 2014 when he performed the giant leap.
The leap was so huge that Herbert lost control, drifting many metres in the air before plummeting fast back into the water.
Herbert was dazed by the impact and had to be pulled from the water by fellow competitors.
He was taken to hospital but was uninjured.
