Elk Moving Out
The snowfall in our mountains drove the elk down into the valley. The farmers were having a hard time keeping them out of the haystacks. We were no exception. They lived at our house for a month and a half. Sometimes the numbers reaching well over 300. This particular day the Fish and Game tried to move them out of our field. They crossed the fence and laid in the field the other side. They were back again at dark.
