An amusing video of a snowboarder crashing shortly after being warned by his guide to slow down.

The video, filmed at the bottom of Mount Annupuri in Niseko, Japan in February, shows the daredevil speeding down the side of the mountain, while others in the group shout "break" to warn him to slow down.

According to the filmer, the snowboarder in question, Phil, didn't hear the warnings properly and "charged in".

He ended up crashing and falling into a hole.

"He was very lucky to avoid the rocks and river at the bottom of the hole," the filmer wrote online.

Our guide told us to go slow and stop before the bottom due to the sharp dip at the traverse. Phil didn't hear him clearly and charged in.
