Tour de Timor 2012 - final stage race finish
Tour de Timor is an International Mountain Bike race held in East Timor.
The race was won by Shahrin Amir the first Malaysian to win the Tour. Race is run over five days and it included over 380 riders.
The route includes a split mix of two challenging hill climbing days, two road racing days and two mixed terrain.
East Timor is a sovereign state comprising the Eastern half of the Island of Timor some 400 miles north west of Darwin Australia. East Timor became the first new sovereign state of the 21st century on May 20, 2002 after Indonesia relinquished control of the territory
