A funny video of a rather large and apparently confident number eight pointing at a much smaller opposition player before running straight through him during an amateur rugby match.

The footage, filmed during a tie between Rosslyn Park and Blaydon, shows the forward emerge from the breakdown with the ball and run straight at the defensive player, knocking him to the ground, before offloading to another player who scores a try.

"Not much was said as the final whistle was after," the player wrote online.

"[But] I got a bit of stick by some team mates for pointing out the fella before I sat him down."
