Woman appears to throw labrador into lake
Shocking footage has emerged of a woman appearing to throw her labrador into a lake in the US.
The video, captured on May 1 in Ohio, shows the woman walking her dog on the shore of lake Erie before appearing to try and drag the animal into the water.
According to police, the woman explained she was attempting to teach her pet, who was frightened by the waves, how to swim.
''She threw her dog into the lake on a cold day when the water was only 59 degrees'', the filmer later wrote online.
''First time the police did nothing but they ended up reviewing the tapes,'' he added.
