A video has emerged from the UK of a man proposing to his girlfriend during an Ed Sheeran concert.

The footage, captured on June 22, shows Dan and Nikki dancing together when suddenly he gets down on one knee, produces a ring and asks her to marry him.

She accepts and they have an emotional hug as Ed Sheeran continues to sing one of his romantic ballads.

''He sprung the Ed Sheeran tickets on me the day before that itself was a shock as he's my all time favourite singer,'' Nikki later wrote online.

''He asked a couple behind us to video as he was about to do it! At that point I thought I was having a picture taken and then noticed she was videoing.''

''My legs went to jelly my heart skipped a beat. I was in utter shock my eyes rolled back in my head and I thought I was about to pass out,'' she continued.

''I am over the moon and can't wait to be Mrs Hurren and spend the rest of my life with the man that's totally changed my life,'' she added.

Me and Dan have known each other 3 and half years but never got together my mum died early this yeat and he was 100 % there for me and I fell in love with him 6 months later he did the proposal!!!! He sprung the ed sheeran tickets on me the day before that itself was a shock as he's my all time favourite singer!! We then got to London to a lovely hotel not far from the o2 arena! When I got to the room there was a gucci bracelet a brand new dress and the concert tickets as you can imagine I was over the moon and thought it couldn't get any better! So we had a few drinks and headed to the arena!!! I was still non the wiser to what he had in store for me!! He then managed to get us almost up front so I could see Ed up close!! Just before my favourite song was about to be sang he advised me to go to the loo cos I have at the point had a fare few drinks and he didn't want me to miss the proformance!! So I rush off to the loo and when I was there he asked a couple behind us to video as he was about to do it! At that point I thought I was having a picture taken and then noticed she was videoing!! My legs went to jelly my heart skipped a beat! I was in utter shock my eyes rolled baxk in my head i thouht i was about to pass out!! Then reality hit and i released where i was and what was happening at the beginjng of the video he was talkikg in my ear tellling me how beautiful I looked and how much he loved me and how I deserved the wordless after everything life has thrown at me!!! I'm 31 year old and I have had a very bad upbringing and and even worse adult life!! Up until late this point of course!! Am over the moon and can't wait to be Mrs hurren and spend the rest of my life with the man that's totally changed my life!!!
