This adorable kitten is a dead ringer - for British superstar Ed Sheeran.

The four-week-old moggy named 'Ed Kitten' has a ginger mane and blue eyes just like the 'Shape of You' singer.

Footage of the feline posted online has been watched more than 20 million times with viewers amazed by the cat's likeness to the rocker.

Owner Jaiden Hughes from Ohio in the United States joked that little Ed 'played the fiddle in an Irish band in a past life'.

She added: 'My cat became pregnant but little did I know she would give birth to an internet sensation.

'We gave her plenty of privacy and a quiet space, and once the kittens were about four weeks old I was so shocked to see little Ed Kitten, and his resemblance to Ed Sheeran.

'I had to share right away by posting his photo on TikTok, where everyone else could be blessed with his cuteness.

'Ed, his siblings, and his mother currently live with me in Ohio.'
