A man riding an unlicensed scooter was stopped by traffic police in Haikou City, south China's Hainan Province, on July 15. The man refused to get off the vehicle and started to dance hysterically on the crosswalk, before he tried to attack the officers. He was later brought down by police. For fear of the punishment and in order to escape, the man then began another round of bizarre dance. He then managed to ran away when the police was not paying attention, leaving his scooter and belongings behind. The man eventually turned himself in on July 16. He is detained for five days.
