David Rais, 20, from Indonesia had been with his parents on a tour package to Pattaya, Thaialand, when they stopped for food in Pattaya, Thailand.
The man ran into the road and narrowly avoidedbeing knocked down by a passing truck before officers spent 30 minutes calming him down.
Pol Lt Chawalit Suwanmanee from Pattaya City Tourism Authority said said they put him in the back of the truck to resolve the situation.
