A remarkable video has emerged from China of a little girl who fell out of a fourth-floor window but was saved when she landed on an air conditioning unit.

The video, filmed in Zaoyang, Hubei Province on August 11, shows the girl sitting three floors up on the temperature control device.

Firefighters reached her within five minutes of arriving on the scene and she escaped with only a few scratches.

Conflicting reports emerged on the age of the girl with some local media reporting her to be six years old while others said she was four.

Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a girl falling onto the third-floor air conditioner out of a building being rescued by firefighters.

The video, filmed in Zaoyang, Hubei Province on August 11, shows a girl sitting on an air conditioner hanging out of the window on the third floor and the security rails on the fourth floor opening a big gap.

While, firefighters hold the girl to climb back into the house on the fourth floor through the ladder.

According to local news, the girl was left alone at home by her mum when she was sleeping.

After she woke up, she climbed onto the unlocked window to try to find her mum and fell down from it by mistake.

Fortunately, she was caught by the air conditioner out of the window downstairs.

Firefighters rescued her in five minutes and she only had scratches.
