A video has surfaced from Texas, USA of group of hunters rescuing a large deer which was trapped in a fence.

In the video, the hunters are driving around a private ranch when they encounter the stricken and terrified axis deer with its head stuck in the high fence.

The two hunting guides manage to pull the deer free of the fence and it quickly bounds away.

Although the clip was filmed in 2015, it has only recently come to light.

Out hunting the range (private ranch)and we came across this young Axis buck that had got his head suck in the high fence. When we showed up he was just hanging around. Thankfully our guides were seasoned deer wranglers and knew exactly what to do to free the scared buck. This actually one of two Axis bucks we freed that day.
