My sons 11th birthday we took him to watch the West Ham match and West Ham won 1-0 against Swansea.
Jack off his own back decided to support the football team West Ham when he turned 5. No one he knew, not even family supported this team. We have all grown to love West Ham through Jack. He says his idol is Bobby Moore and he has read a lot about him, the history of westham and when England won the World Cup in 1966.
Jack has always believed he will play for West Ham one day and is extremely good at football and one of the top scorers.
I'm now seeing that his dream for the last five years seem more and more possible. So witnessing such kindness from Declan Rice was absolutely astounding and I know my son will treasure that moment his whole life! And maybe one day he'll wear those boots for westham! You never know. Thank you Declan and Westham. So proud of my son too.
