Dramatic footage of a paramotorist damaging his propeller during a race on Qarun Lake in Egypt.

The video, captured on November 3, shows the propeller's blades flying in the air as the paramotorist accidentally hits the water.

Thankfully, he managed to land on the shore safely and was not injured.

"He damaged 4 blades of the 4 total blades on his carbon fibre propeller, around 800 dollars worth of equipment there," the filmer wrote online.

"Plus he broke the 'cage' of his paramotor. The cage is the round ring that goes around the propeller."
