Gherkin and surrounding shops Evacuated by police
Footage has emerged from East London as heavy police presence intensifies in the surrounding areas of The Gherkin.
The video, shot on November 28, in the City of London shows a reportedly lockdown situation as police have approached an empty vehicle next to the main building.
"Sirens everywhere, lots of shouting, police very keen to clear the area," the filmer reported.
