Video has emerged showing the inside of a home that was ruined during floods that struck a Lancashire village last week.

In the video, filmed in Galgate on November 22, the filmer says: "This is our house. ... Just completely flooded, the lino's coming up, ruined ... everything just gone. I'm just saving what I can."

After a tour of her flooded home, the filmer shows the view outside, showing a flooded street with cars submerged in water.

The filmer later wrote online: "My 200-year old home, which used to be a pub, flooded on November 22 due to torrential rain.

"This apparently hasn't happened in 100 years. The River Conder is at the back of my house further down the garden and we were flooded from the front too. Five feet of water entered my property and surrounding properties, flooding my car.

"The speed the water came in was extremely frightening."
