A spectacular head-on collision took place between two vehicles in northwest Spain last Wednesday (January 3), leaving three people injured, two seriously.

Shocking video shows a driver zigzagging on a road in Arzúa, Galicia, before slamming head-on into another car.

"I was driving early morning when I saw a 4x4 crossing the midline and driving really close to the cars coming on the other side," writes the filmer.

He flashed the erratic driver and honked repeatedly to get his attention. But his efforts were in vain as the car continued to drive dangerously, zigzagging from one side of the road to the other.

The filmer contacted the local police to explain the situation and continued to follow the dangerous car. Without any intervention from the traffic police, our eye-witness decided to record what happened to "show that video to police and get his driving license removed."

Despite the continuous warnings from our shooter, the car went on to drive on the wrong side of the road and then slammed head-on into another vehicle.

Three people got injured in the accident, the driver and a couple in the oncoming car.

According to a local report, two of the victims were seriously injured.

The reason for the driver’s erratic behaviour at the wheel is still uncertain.

Accident on 3th/01/2018 in Arzúa, Galicia. Spain.
I was driving early morning when i saw a 4x4 crossing the midline and driving really close to cars coming.
It might happen about 2/3 times when i begun to flash lights and honk continuously. My surprise was that this old man were ignoring all what i was doing and his trajectory was unchanging
So, when i saw he didnt care about flash lights or horn, i called the 091 ( the security emergency in spain ), they told me to call to traffic police, i called traffic did explain the situation to them.
Then i begun to drive again and few km away i found again this man.
He was driving as before or even worse. Time was passing and police were not coming so in my mind were a lot of things, like he could go to another road and police may never see what dangerously was that man.
Thats when i decided to film it and, if luck was there, show that video to police to remove his driving licence.
I think i was not realizing what was going on, a man that even with flash lights and honking a lot and he still driving other side as noone seeing him? what could i do? i knew flashing was not working..
maybe all other cars would be able to dodge him as 20 cars did before..
The last one was too quick to realize they were not being able to dodge him. When i realized about that, they were crashing.
The one i was behind was a man about 60 year old or a bit more. Unconscious after hit.
On the other car were a old man too and a woman, both about 65/70 year old. Both conscious but harmed by, confused..
