Red squirrels still have a stronghold in Cumbria and can be attracted into gardens if appropriate food is provided. This garden near The village of Nateby in the Eden Valley Cumbria is visited regularly by three or more squirrels coming to feed on a never ending supply of monkey nuts provided by the occupants of the house. In the field next to the garden the squirrels like to run down the hill and hop onto the garden wall at a surprisingly fast pace.
This slow motion footage was captured on the 12th of January 2018 In the Upper Eden valley Cumbria.
