A 66-year-old farmer used a giant writing brush to create calligraphy in China.

The video, filmed in Weinan City in northwestern Shaanxi Province on March 21, shows the man named Cheng Shiqiang holding a 1.53-metre-long and 25-kilogram-weight brush, the handle of which is made of iron, writing Chinese characters on the paper on floor.

According to local news, Cheng started to learn calligraphy from 50 years old.

He spent around 23 pounds to customize the iron brush one year ago and he only aimed to keep fit initially.

However, writing with the iron brush became his hobby gradually and he also established an iron-brush calligraphy association with 25 members.
