CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a residential structure fire in the14000 block Cloverfield Drive in Moreno Valley.

The first arriving engine company reported a single story, single family dwelling, with a confirmed working fire showing from the roof.

Firefighters took about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire.

One female suffered major injuries and was transported to a local trauma center in critical condition.

A dog was inside the residence when the fire occurred and was rescued by firefighters.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation at this time.
