Le Tour de France rider picks up helmet camera
An amazing video has emerged online of a Tour de France cyclist picking up a spectator's camera and capturing a very unusual perspective of the famous race.
Spectator James Broderick was filming Stage Three of Le Tour when his helmet camera was knocked to the ground as the cyclists passed.
French rider Kevin Reza spotted the camera and scooped it up, continuing to cycle with the camera still filming all the while.
Reza managed to shoot an impromptu film of himself and his Europcar teammates who laugh when they see the camera in his hands.
After several minutes, Reza passes the camera through the window of his team car.
Broderick later reached out to Reza on Twitter and was delighted when Reza sent back the camera which contained the remarkable footage.
