Buy video

This is a short video showing the current conditions in the North West mining town of Port Hedland.
Severe Tropical Cyclone is a cat 3 system slowly making its way towards Port Hedland at a very slow pace of around 5km/h.
The system is only approx 180km NNE away, but will only begin to cross the coast in around 24hours.
The system is expected to dump alot of rain in the region, with rivers and stream expected to flood, and with the king tides also due to be at their great on landfall, coastal parts are also expected to flood.

Areas of Port Hedland have already been evacuated.

I will post another video tonight as conditions worsen.
