Russian man tossed from tank at military festival
A Russian man has captured the terrifying moment he fell under the tracks of a T-60 tank during a military festival in St. Petersburg.
Petr Nazarov and another man and two children were thrown from the vehicle as it lurched over a steep ridge, with Nazarov collapsing beneath the caterpillar treads.
Nazarov broke his leg, posting pictures on his social media profile.
The children, aged 10 and 15 years old were relatively unharmed, reported Russian media site TJournal.
The festival, Boyevaya Stal ("Combat Steel"), took place on April 29 and was being held without the required permits, according to St. Petersburg authorities.
Nazarov received no safety training, he said.
