Moment driver pulls out of lay-by in front of truck causing pile-up
This is the moment two people are hurt after an HGV sends a 4x4 spinning into a pile-up on a motorway in Wales.
Recently emerged dash cam footage captured on November 14 on the A55 near Llanddulas shows a Hyundai pulling out of a lay-by into the path of an HGV.
Despite braking heavily, the lorry ploughs into the Hyundai and sends it spinning, where it is then t-boned by a Mercedes.
The two cars veer off into the central reservation.
Two lorries and another car stop to assist the drivers.
Two people were taken to hospital following the incident with non-life-threatening injuries.
