Honey Badgers, rare and amazing creatures.

Spotting a Honey badger for any Safari guide is a very special moment as they are not only rare but nocturnal.

Honey badgers have an amazing immune system which can break down the toxins in a Neuro-toxic and Cyto-toxic Venom. Part of their diet consists of snakes, even the Venomous ones! So this immunity is really important as they do get bitten by some of these snakes. They basically sleep it off...

They also have very loose skin which means they have the ability to wriggle out of the grip of another predator, potentially a Lion.

They are very vicious and confident animals, they hold the record for having killed an adult male Buffalo. This due to the fact that they defend themselves by lunging with their sharp teeth at the genital area... Safe to stay away!
