Sinkhole in China opens up moments after woman walks into shop
A road collapsed after a woman walked over it on her way to a shop in southwestern China’s Guiyang City on July 25.
CCTV video captured on a mobile phone shows a sinkhole suddenly opening up in front of a building after a woman walks over it.
The surprised woman can also be seen coming out of the shop from a different exit to survey the damage.
Since a sewage pipe became disjointed, water washed mud away, causing the collapse.
Rescue workers repaired the pipe after five hours.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
