A transport lorry fell into a sinkhole that opened up a road in southeastern China.

The CCTV video, captured in Fuzhou City in Jiangxi Province on June 2, shows a lorry transporting bricks changing lane to avoid a worker, suddenly dropping into a sinkhole after the road collapses beneath.

The worker also fell into the sinkhole but climbed out by himself immediately.

According to reports, the lorry changed its lane to try to avoid the man who was working on site.

A local citizen named Xu said the collapse might have been caused by the construction work on the road.

The case is being investigated, reports said.

6月2日早上8点左右，在抚州市临川区上顿渡镇去往豪门花园小区的马路上，路面突然塌陷，装有一车砖头的货车中招，掉进了坑中。附近的监控探头，正好拍到货车掉坑的瞬间。
画面显示，货车司机当时在正常行驶，看到马路前方有人在施工，往右侧打了方向盘，前行了5秒钟后，路面突然塌陷。
视频中还出现惊险一幕，一名施工人员在货车陷进坑内后一脚踩空，随后立即爬了上来。
目前，路面塌陷的具体原因，有关部门正在调查当中。
