The Super Typhoon Mangkhut (T10) that swept through Hong Kong on Sun 16 September 2018 caused considerable damage to the city, including the Hung Hom and Whampoa areas (of Kowloon, Hong Kong).

The winds were so severe that they managed to blow down many trees, causing excessive blockage of roads.

This video was taken from a road between my flat (Harbour Place Tower 2) and the 'Stars By The Harbour' residence at 2:00pm on the day the typhoon hit Hong Kong. I live on the 23rd floor and manage to film from the window of my living room (with help from the zoom function of my Sony Handycam FDR-AXP55 in 4K25).

A driver had gone through the trouble of getting out of his car (even during a T10 storm) to remove a fallen tree that was blocking the road. After this, he managed to get back into his vehicle and drive off.
