Brazen thieves snatch chain from male victim in broad daylight
Two thieves have been caught on camera snatching chain from a man in broad daylight.
In India, chain snatchers usually target women.
But in Ghaziabad near New Delhi, India, two bike riders stopped a man on a scooter to ask for directions. As the man tried to respond, one of them snatched the chain and rode away on the waiting bike.
The men were so brazen, they made no attempt to cover their faces.
The victim put up little resistance perhaps fearing they were armed.
Sachin Mallik, an official at Indirapuram police station, said the incident was being probed on the basis of the CCTV footage.
