Security footage from a bus plunging into a river in central China last Sunday (October 28) has revealed that the driver was fighting with a passenger before the incident.

The CCTV video shows the bus driver arguing with a woman before she slaps him in the face and starts a fight.

After the driver put hands back onto the steering wheel, the bus has already lost control. Passengers can be heard screaming inside the bus.

According to reports, the woman missed the stop she had to get off and asked the driver to stop before reaching the next station.

Since the driver refused, they started an argument and began fighting when the bus was still moving on the bridge. Then the out-of-control bus crashed into a red car before falling into the river.

At least 13 people died and two more are missing, reports said.
