A cheeky monkey in northern India caught sight of his reflection in a motorcycle wing mirror and was mesmerised by what he saw.

The incident was filmed in Narwana in Haryana state on September 8, where the monkey is seen sitting and constantly looking into the rear view mirror of a motorcycle. He checks his face and refuses to believe that it is actually him and how he looks.

The monkey repeated this ritual until the bike owner, who filmed the scene, called its name, "Sundar", which means beautiful in Hindi.

The monkey later ran away when the owner came to start his bike.
