This is the amusing moment a wild monkey stole a jacket from a motorcycle rider in Thailand.

The cheeky primate approached Apichet Monhna who was on a biking trip, before pulling the clothing in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

As the wild monkey reached Apichet, it dragged his coat to the ground and tried to run away as quickly as possible with its loot.

Shocked Apichet pulled the jacket back but had to let go after the monkey growled at him. The animal then left the jacket because it was too heavy to take to the trees.

He said: "I can't believe I had to lose my favourite jacket to some mountain monkey. I thought I'd be able to win it back but the monkey looked violent."
