Further amateur footage has emerged of the Antares rocket explosion in Virginia, USA on Tuesday.

The footage, captured 1.7 miles west of the launch pad on Oyster Bay, shows the moment the unmanned craft burst into flames seconds after taking off and the aftermath as rocket fuel plumed into the sky.

The rocket was due to carry nearly 5,000lb (2,200kgs) of supplies to six astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
