Chinese rocket crashes back down to earth only ten seconds after taking off
This is the horrifying moment a Chinese rocket lost control and fell back down to the earth at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center yesterday (March 27).
The video filmed by an onlooker shows the 60-foot-tall and 22-ton OS-M rocket, made by private Chinese company One Space Technology Group, being launched into the air from the Gobi Desert.
However, after only ten seconds the rocket wobbled through the sky before hurtling back down to earth, leaving smoke trails in its wake.
According to reports, OneSpace was attempting to orbit its rocket around a test satellite but failed.
The reason was being investigated by the company.
