A boy taking a selfie at Bhima Kunda, a natural site in the Indian state of Odisha, lost his footing when balancing on a precarious edge and fell into a raging waterfall, media reported on December 30.

The clips in the video show the boy, identified as Rohon Mishra, swimming in an attempt to battle the fast-moving currents.

According to a local source, the boy was having a picnic with his friends when the incident happened.

The boy was unable to be rescued. Police and firefighters are currently locating his body as investigations proceed underway.

Adding to the list of fatal diseases that kill a human is this new illness called selfie. This human-created addiction has yet again claimed one lives in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district.

A student from Cuttack district today died after slipping into BHIMA KUNDA a picnic place, while allegedly taking a selfie along with his friends.

According to source, the incident took place when Rohon, the deceased, was out for a picnic with his friend near to Bimakunda and while taking selfies, he slipped into it.
