A video has emerged of a man driving an off-road buggy through a lit bonfire.

In the footage, captured at the filmer’s private shooting range in Polk County, FL, US, on Saturday night, the man drives at high-speed through the large fire in front of a group of stunned friends and spectators.

Fortunately, the driver was unharmed in the stunt: “He was not hurt and his Ranger was not really on fire, it just had some hot coals on the inside of the wheels” the filmer wrote online.

“As soon as he stopped the coals fell out onto the wet grass and went out. But that did not stop me from unloading a fire extinguisher on him and his buggy” he added.

The event was carefully planned by the amateur stunt group who wrote online to discourage any attempts to recreate the dangerous feat.
