The wonderful Toco Toucan at Iguacu Falls Brazil - right above people's heads

The spectacular Toco Toucan (Rhamphastos toco) is the largest and best-known species of Toucan. It is the only non-forest species of Toucan, and lives along forest edges where it feeds mainly on fruit, but will also take insects and nestling birds. A pair pf Toco Toucans were nesting in a tree hollow just above the heads of tourists at a lookout near the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas in Iguacu National Park in southern Brazil. Most of the people there were oblivious to the wonderful birds just above their heads, and instead took selfies with their backs to the Falls. The Toucan was bringing insects to its nest hollow in the tree in the walkway. It perched in the tree with the nest hole with an insect in its bill, then a little later perched nearby with a large cicada in its beak that it mashed before flying to the nest to feed its chicks.
