A bird has housed its four chicks in a nest made inside a set of traffic lights in Leeds.

The ingenious mistle thrush built its nest in front of the amber light, using the warmth of the device to heat up its chicks.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has placed the mistle thrush on their Red List which "is the highest conservation priority, with species needing urgent action."

This footage was filmed on February 23.
