Residents in Chimanimani, Zimbabwe, are burying their dead after Cyclone Idai swept through the area.

Footage captured on March 20 shows members of the Youth Empowerment Service Organisation digging graves for 65 people following a service from a local pastor.

The filmer, Pastor Petros Sitole, said: “There are too many. Every day I bury.”

Chimanimani in Eastern Zimbabwe has been hard hit by Cyclone Idai. At least 200,000 people are thought to have been affected.

World Food Programme officials estimate up to 90% of the Chimanimani district has been damaged by the cyclone.
