Bird freaks out while playing with a piece of bark at Australian bird sanctuary
Out of nowhere, a bird starts screaming and attacking a piece of bark that was left on the floor of his cage at a botanical garden in Queensland, Australia.
Video of the bemused bird was filmed on March 30 at the Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World. The filmer gave a guess of why the bird went nuts over the tree, saying: "No one would play with him so he decided to wrestle a piece of bark instead".
According to the bird-keeper, this behaviour is consistent throughout Galahs, the breed of bird, saying: "They just play around and are absolute idiots all the time."
